Med body, slightly lacking, but ok. Low carbo. Med sweet, med bitter, med-light warmth, pleasant, smooth, good balance. Med chocolate, light coffee, deff on the cocoa side. Good, but not great.

Creamy tan head on a dark brown coloured body.
Toffee & boozy aroma.
Medium bodied, smooth thinning out to a clean back.
Milky coffee, sweet, malt & roasted tastes with a tangy citrus.
Goes down a treat.

Trago corto, disfrute largo y lento, buenisima

Bottle from De Bierliefhebber. Aroma is roasted malt with dark chocolate, caramel, coffee, cocoa, fudge, mocha, and a hint of fruits. Flavour is medium sweet and above moderate bitter. Body is above medium. Yum, tasty chocolate-y aroma with caramel fudge and coffee, if only the body were a bit more imperial... That being said, this is really good. Dat mocha.

Taste comprises roast malts, charr, dark chocolate, spice, cacao nobs, brown sugar dusting, toffee fudge, bourbon biscuit. Medium plus bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a lick of booze. Decent well balanced and easy drinking impy.

Bottle, 8.0%. Good aroma of salt liquorice. Black colour, seems unclear. Big fizzy brown head, but still stable. The flavour is roasted and smokey with a mild malt syrup note. Late raw liquorice aftertaste. Sticky mouthfeel, but not overly sweet. High carbonation.

On tap. Pours black with short tan head. Aromas of cocoa powder, black coffee, and roasted malts. Flavors of dry dark chocolate, black coffee and dry roasted malts. Did I mention it’s very dry? Somewhere in the middle of an Irish stout and an imperial. Clean. Good
