0.33l can. A clear golden beer with a small but lasting just off-white top. The aroma is fantastic low. Some faint grainy tones is really all I manage to squeeze out of this one. It's as near a smelless beer I think I've ever nosed. A bit more flavor. It's malty and quite sweet. Corn-sweet with some near cacti-hints in the finish. Dull and way to sweet. 08.08.2012

(can) Clear, pale golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Grainy and doughy pale malty nose with notes of brewing mash. Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light bodied with a moderate carbonation. Plain grainy malty and slightly mashy taste with a moderately sweet and sour doughy slim malty finish. 03.I.12

Can: Clear, pale greenish-golden, stable white fluffy head, perfumed grainy-corny nose, no hops at all; light sweet-bitter flavour, thin; short sweetish-corny finish, some unexpected bitterness in the aftertaste. Extremely boring......

Sample at the Eurostash II tasting on 12/12/09: The beer pours a clear golden color with a thin and fluffy white head that recedes steadily. Spotty lacing on the glass. Mild grainy malt aroma with a touch of hops. Light body with flavors of sweet malt and lightly herbal hops. The finish is short and malty with a slight hops aftertaste. Unmemorable overall.

Can, Bräu Union, 4.0%, purchased at the Interspar at the City Center West in Graz. Poured a golden body with a fluffy white head that went away fast. Light herbal hoppy nose, bit buttery, not unpleasant really. Watery taste, nice lemony hopiness, some honeyish malt, very light apple. Light bitter hoppy aftertaste, slightly chewy. Too subtle for its own good and while being far from being a really good beer, this is way better than expected.

Can (Brau Union), alc. 4.0 % (BB 05/2009). Golden color, small white head. Saaz-hoppy, a bit buttery Czech pils -like aroma. Very much typical Czech 10 plato like pils. Butterness, Bohemian hops, light lingering bitterness. Of course watery, but much better than I expected from Skol. Flavor seems to vary in different European versions.
