Metallern röstiger Antrunk weich, geringe Karbonisierung. Später runder, noch wenig würzig. Irgendwie trinkbar aber mit Sicherheit kein Meisterwerk. 8/5/7/5/5/5

Deep brown to black colour. Thick beige head. Aroma of bread, roasted malt, chocolate, some metallic notes. Thin watery body. The taste is medium sweet. Malty finish. A hint of hops in aftertaste. This beer is crisp and refreshing but not solid enough.

Can shared at a tasting at kerenmk’s place. As Karlsbräu Black. 4.7%. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of dark bread, caramel and a bit of vegetal character. Sweet flavor, a bit sugary, with dark bread, caramel and a slightly drier finish. Light to medium-bodied. More like a Dunkel than a Schwarzbier. And not a very good one.

Can, dense creamy off white head, quite clear very dark brown colour with some light brown hues, aroma of malzbier and dark caramel, flavour of dark bread, dark caramel, cola and soy. light medium bitterness, extremely dry. light dried frutis aftertaste. Quite drinkable but not too exciting.
