(6/24/08) Draught at the brewpub in Prague. Hazy golden with a slowly-diminishing bubbly white head. Aroma of grassy hops, a bit of graininess and light vegetal notes. Sweetish flavor with light caramel hints, finishes with a rather strong hoppy bitterness. Medium-bodied. Aroma is a bit of a turn-off but the flavor has some nice hoppy bitterness.

(Draught at the brewpub, Prague, 23 July 2008) Golden yellow colour, slightly cloudy, with a brief, white head. Malty, grassy nose with a fresh citrussy character. Malty taste with hints of toffee and a grassy, citric bitterness in the finish. Balanced malt sweetness. Creamy, smooth mouthfeel. Excellent, well balanced pilsener.

Clear golden color, big cloudy white head, some lace. Grassy metallic and barnyardish nose. Medium-bodied. Starts quite watery, only some maltyness. A bit hoppy with very light buttery notes in the finish. This is their first beer, unfortunately not very exiciting.

RBESG08 grand tasting. As Tom puts it, this didn’t take the journey well. Poured a hazy yellow colour. Grainy nose with notes of beets. Taste... beets again, not much else. Bitter, slightly offensive in this state. Crap. I’ll rerate it as soon as I get to Prague. 3/3/4/2/7Rerate: So I got to Prague and tried it again. The beets are not as intensive as last time but still hidden in there. A light pils, not offensive, nothing special. Far from the best beer you can find in Prague.

Draught@brewpub. Slightly hazy yellow colour, big creamy white head. Aroma is cooked vegetables, malts, hops and some breadyness. Flavour is grass, mild diacetyl, dry hoppyness in finish. Refreshing atleast, otherwise a bit boring.
