(6/28/08) Draught at the brewpub in Dobrany. Dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of roasted malt with nice coffee notes. Sweetish flavor with roasted malt and a slightly drier finish. Medium-bodied. Quite good.

Draught at the brewpub: Deep ruby-amber coloured, persistent beige-brownish head; delicate dryish dark-malty nose, traces of roasted-malt and coffee detectable; moderate to stronger bitter-sweet flavour, astonoshingly light bodied for a beer of 5.0% ABV; lingering dryish malty-bitter finish with traces of liquorice and a subtle sweetness. Very pleasant, very well balanced Dunkel...........

Dark ruby color, small beige head. Caramelly, toasted nose. Crisp, caramelly ... dark sugars in the flavor. A bit hoppy finish. Ok.

Draught at the brewpub during RBESG08. Very dark brown/ruby. Quite malty, but very drinkable, bit too syrupy on the malt for me, but not overly sweet. I can see that people would like this, but it’s too sweet for me I think. Aroma is good though. Fine.
