On tap, beer no.4 (I think) at the RBESG blind tasting (Modry Abbe, Klatovy) Poured a hazy light amber colour with a medium sized head that went away at a medium pace. A perfumey nose, somewhat grainyand honeyish...notes of glue? The taste was nice enough. Bitterish, ok hop profile, and again with notes of glue (in a good way if that’s possible). Better than the unfiltered version apparently and probably better on tap than bottled.

50 cL bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow with with a slowly collapsing white head. Spiced hoppy aroma with a mild butter note. Flavour is medium sweet and with a distinct diacetyl note. Ends much the same way with a vague bitterness.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Could be more zippy. Tastes old, sourish finish, modest spicy. Not so good!

Milder Antrunk, herb-süß im Mittelteil, bananid. Kaum künstlich, angenehem Intensität, etwas herb, durstlöschend, aber sonst hat das Bier nicht viel zu bieten. Test vom 24.3.2008, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 7,7,7,8,8,7 - 7,20

Draught, 5.1% at BBF07. Dusty aroma. Almost clear orange colour. Small white head. The flavour is dusty with OK, medium, soft bitterness. Low carbonation. Semi-creamy mouthfeel. Leaves a rubbery feeling, though.

dark golden-yellow colour. Large head, though disappearing quickly. Quite hoppy and dry beer with malty accents, especially in the finish.

Bottled. Yellowish golden colour, with mediumsized bubbly head. Aroma is malts and salty hops. Flavour is a lot of grass and hay balanced up with some malts. Not too bad for a Bohemian pilsener. Refreshing.

First ratingDraught at Hotel Olympic (horribly expensive beer) in Prague. Golden color, shite creamy head. Not much scent (perhaps due to smoke in the room), a bit malty smell perhaps. Hoppy taste, refreshing. Rather big bitterness. Medium to big body. Bitter in the aftertaste.5/4/8/4/15=3.6Rerate(50 cl bottle at a bar in Holosovice, Prague)On June 25, 2008BB 19.08.08Clear deep golden color, big fluffy white head. (bottle) Clear amber colour with a medium sized frothy, minimal off-white head with nice lace. Rich malty aroma, slightly sweet (honey) and a bit nutty. Well balanced initial sweet maltiness, soft & bitter hoppiness on a medium body with an almost creamy texture. A good one.

Golden colour. Thick, creamy head. Buttery, meaty aroma. Malty flavour with notes of salty liquorice. Grassy, bitter finish. A pleasant pilsener.
