Bottled (Thanks Jennie G). Pale yellow colour with a small white head. Aroma is maizelike, some grains and a bit grassy elements. Flavour is grassy, some grainy and mild maizelike sweetness to it. Easy going and watery, but not harsh.

Bottle from Tops in Tempe, AZ. Amber color with a nice off-white head. Something of a caramel aroma. Medium body with very mild carbonation. An amber malt flavor with "celery" for bitter. Pretty good actually. Excellent with curry.

0.33l bottle courtesy of and shared with heavy (thanks!). The BB date and the fact that he found only two bottles in Mostar probably mean that it’s retired. Poured a hazy yellow colour with a thick small white head that went away away slowly. The nose was malty actually ,notes of honey, dust and if I stretch my imagination a bit, apples. The taste is as light as expected, but full for a Bosnian beer. Driven by hop bitterness, a touch sourish, somewhat grapefruity (but far from IPA grapefruity). Found a note of cardboard and some dust again. Not bad for the brewery. I’d have it again.

0.33 l bottle. BB date passed long time ago, more exactly 13/06/2007. Poured murky pale yellow body with medium-smaller head. Aroma of apple and citrus hops, quite mild. Not so bad taste surprisingly, but nothing special either. A bit sourish, some bitterness, too. Medium bodied beer. Finish is with slight bitterness, following the taste, but very light. Not bad, surely it was better fresh, but I don’t think too much, maybe in appearance and without that sourness. Anyway, quite light, but decent pilsener.

Pour is a sickly looking yellow with a fizzy white head. Aroma is grains with a strange sweetness. Flavor is total wet paper bag with no redeaming qualities. It was a buck....

[Labeled Heinrich Löwe] A hazy light yellow beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet malty with a weird sourness to it, while the flavor is sweet malty with notes of citrus as well as light notes of metal, leading to a dry end.

Bottled. Pale golden, almost completely lacking head, just some white bubbles. The aroma is weak, floral and grassy. Malt and grass in the weak flavor. Some hops too. Thin to medium body and a slightly bitter finish. (060413)

Löwe Export
Hazy blond color. Very light aroma. The taste is slightly better that the average pale lager (some more body). The end is quite dry and bitter.
