On tap at Wakefest as “Cherry Chocolate Cake” edition. Pours black with medium tan head. The aroma is strong dark chocolate, bourbon, oak, vanilla, faint cherry. Slick body, similar flavors to nose, nice sweetness, enjoyed this.

Tap @ Kaapse 3rd b’day bash. Black color. Dense beige head. Aroma’s: sweetish, sourish, fruit, light funky. Retronasal it’s woody, funky, light fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet, woody, funky. Medium bodied. Finishes with some dark chocolate, light bitter.

Black with thin head. Aroma and flavour have a fair bit of fresh wood and cherry pit. Luckily no artificial cherry taste.

Tap at Kaapse festival. Black with small dark beige head. Lots of roasted malts, dark chocolate, some bourbon and brandy, alcohol, light coffee, maybe some dried cherries but they’re quite in the background, some blackberries. Over medium sweet and bitter. Full bodied with some alcohol in the finish.

Tap at Kaapse 3rd Anniversary. Black with cream tan head. Big roasted and sweet chocolate malts. Cherry sweet and sour, oak, cinnamon, sugary. Big sweet and moderate bitter. Full body, soft carbonation. Nice!

Draft at Kaapse 3 year anniversary festival. Black with a small ring tan head. Aroma of dark chocolate, roast, cherry, toffee, caramel. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate to heavy bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.
