I am pretty sure this was what I had, as the tap at the bar was this: Pours golden with white head. Aroma is bread and grain. Taste is much the same. It is not too sweet. Easy to drink Euro lager. Not bad.

Bottle, 6.1% as Patrimoine gourmand blonde d’alsace pur malt. Bar code 3257981083257. Buttery aroma, hint of rough macro lager. Clear golden colour. Stable white head. The flavour also starts off a little buttery, but not as nasty as I feared after smelling it. It has a slightly rough hop bitterness and a quite sweet aroma hoppiness which is also slightly spicy.

All malt in this puppy, strong malt aroma and taste. Slightly musty, sour nature to this, some yeast presence. Just below average for the style.

Sampled from an 8.45 oz brown bottle this beer poured a medium amber color with a medium sized orange-white head that faded and left decent lacing. The aroma was bready and yeasty with notes of toffee and vague herbal hops. The flavor was tangy and almost buttery with notes of yeast, toffee and faint herbal and perfumey hops. Medium length tangy bread and toffee finish. Medium body. Blah.

Pours slightly hazed amber-gold with a short white head. Scent is bready, honey, malt. Taste is rich malt, bread, caramel. A metallic bitter finish. Uninspired.

Honey and malt nose, nice intensity. Clear amber, thin head. Tart malt, lemon. Grass and honey finish. Lame, cheesy label, but the liquid isn’t half bad.
