07/03 Draught at the brewpub. It poured murky brownish body with smaller ocher head. Somewhat sourish hop and sweetish cappuccino malty aroma. Weak flavor reveals some fine coffee and caramel malt. Sweetish. Thin bodied with short caramel finish. I haven’t write down any smoked characteristics so they’re obviously too weak, like whole beer is. Fine base but needs a lot more on it.

Draught at the brewpub. Hmm... didn’t know it was smoked while rating it. Interesting. Anyway, poured a hazy brownish red body with a small off-white head that went away fast. Dry roasty, sweetish nose, coffee and meat. Oily. Interesting. Slightly watery taste, sweet buttery dried meat, slightly coffeish. Nicely sweet and drinkable but on the other hand a bit boring and forgettable. Ah, well.

(Draught at the brewpub) Poured deep dark brown and cloudy with medium sized and white head. Aroma contained sweetness, mildly tar and hint of grilled sausage. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, sweetness, molasses, mildly smoke, lightly tar, some burntness, roastedness and mild bitterness. Aftertaste was mildly sweet and lightly bitter. In general, the brew tasted not clean enough, a bit like an average home-brew.
