Ok, i have a theory, when the alchohol percentage is in a bigger font than the name of the beer, it’s not a good sign. Let’s see! Aroma is sweet, grainy, with some grass, sour apple, and booze. Flavour is right off the bat full of alcohol, it’s very sweet, lots of corny, whoa, this is just a sweet corney mess. Big fuesel bite int he end, this is bad!

Can, 0.50l. Clear deep golden color with medium frothy white head, fair lacing and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of biscuit malt, caramel, alcohol and herbal hops. Taste starts with sweet toasted malt and caramel, follows by strong alcohol and moderate bitter finish. Medium body, sticky texture and average carbonation in palate. Funny name, average quality brew...

The Beer Store, Toronto ($cheap): Pours a reddish colour. Aroma is of malt liquor, so you get all the motor oil and alcohol swab smell together. Ridiculously sweet. My first sip made me gag. It is really awful. I have had quite a few malt liquors in the past few days and this was easily the most disgusting. I am against this beer.

Originally rated August 2005. This french malt liquor pours a golden-amber colour with a light creamy head that dissipates quick enough. The scent is not too strong, with some grain malt and mild honey. The alcohol is definitely felt in the taste. Not much aftertaste. Bitter finish. Gets smoother as you drink it. Still prefer the Mongoose as my favorite malt liquor.

Can. Metallic, vegetal malt aroma. Amber color with large head. Slightly sweet vegetal malt and strong bitter metallic flavor. As we say in Indiana, ’rough as a corn cob’. Vile.

Pours dark gold with little head, plenty of carbonation. Nothing on the nose except a faint hint of syrup. Taste is bitter alcohol and syrup with a bitter finish. Another "get drunk quick" lager that needs to be socked back as fast as possible.

Canned. Clear golden, airy head. Fruity alcohol aroma. Sweet, fruity and severely alcoholic with medium body and mushy mouthfeel. Vodka dominates completely. A beer for alcoholics only to enjoy.
