On tap at The Kernel, pours a hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma and flavour brings out loads of piney hops, smooth dry biscuity malt and a light astringency. Exceptionally well-balanced and simplistic in its greatness. Excellent pale ale.

0.33l bottle @ Cask Pub & Kitchen. Doesn't look amazing in the glass this. Deep blurry and mild orangey colored with a dirty quickly disappearing and light sidesticking off-white head. Smells more grainy than apa-ish. Well, OK there are some fresh citrussy tones going on here with a little bit of dark caramel and ripe peaches but the graininess dominates the aroma here. Haven't had that in a kernel beer before. Tastes much better. Fresh, crisp and lots of zesty citrus bitterness. Mild oily in the mouth with a mild oily mouthfeel. Soft grassy, and reminds me of green Mr freeze. Could of course be an old bottle, but that again would be a bit strange. A tasty one with a somewhat disappointing aroma and looks. 09.11.2013

5,6% abv. A yellow beer with a medium and white head. The nose is fresh, fruitfull and tropical, citrusfruits, mangos, some fructose. Taste is slightly tropical, grapefruits, some pine needles, the bitterness is smooth and medium, still enough. Medium bodied, medium carbonation, vivacious to drink. Easy and tastefull pale ale, could be more fruitfull.

Bouteille 33cl de HopDuvel. BB 10.01.2014.

330ml bottle from Ales by Mail

Bottled 04.09.13 - Pours clear orange with a smooth white head. Aroma of floral hops, grass, crisp maltiness and hints of spices. Taste is floral, spicy, hoppy and fruity with hints of grass and crisp maltiness. Finish is dry, a bit musty fruity and bitter with hints of floral notes, citrus and grass. A bit musty, floral and fruity pale ale, a nice showcase for amarillo hops.

Bottle @ Alesbymail. Pours cloudy golden with a small white head. Sweet and juicy grapefruit. Dry and bitter. Crisp. I sense a mild yeasty phenolic and medicinal note towards the ens.

330ml bottle [5.6% abv]. Minimally cloudy, pale orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Bitter, minimally floral hoppy aroma, some gooseberry. Taste is dry hoppy, citrusy, minimally floral, notes of gooosebery, biscuity malty basis with lemon aroma touch.
