getrunken kurz vor Weihnachten 2017
Ich bin eigentlich kein Freund von Bockbieren. Meist sind sie mir geschmacklich zu alkoholisch und/oder süß. Dieser Bock hat auch einen deutlichen süßen Touch und auch den Alkohol merkt man, aber alles ist in angenehm fruchtige Noten eingepackt, was es recht süffig macht. Ein Bier für Freunde, aber auch Skeptiker von Bockbieren.

From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is cornish, caramel and light toasted breadish. Bitter, toasted, caramelish and sweet. Medium dry and bitter finish.

Draught at the brewpub. Hazy golden body, persistent thick white head. Lovely fruity soft malty nose. More of the same in the taste, slightly soapy though. Lacks hops, desperately, but it’s good. Tweak it some more please!

Draught at the brewpub.
Dark golden coloured, small white head, buttery alcoholic nose. Atypical Weihnachtsbock, strong butterscotch and very fruity yoghurty taste with some traces of alcohol in the finish. My girlfriend liked it much more than I did.
