V pivu so skrbno izbrane vrhunske naravne sestavine.

Bottle, 0.50l, courtesy of P&E. Aroma of roasted malt, chocolate, caramel, butter and sauerkraut. Pours clear dark brown color with large soapy tan-like head and sparkling appearance. Taste starts with medium sweet caramel and toasted malt, following is sour fruity, grassy, buttery and yeasty, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is light bitter. Light body, thin texture and average carbonation in palate. Brew-ha-ha...

Pours a clear dark brown color, topped with a fairly small white head that immediately disappears. Very mild malty aroma with some unpleasant soury notes. Taste is sweet with some chocolate notes. No real bitterness. Not bad, drinkable, but nothing to get too excited about.

29/06 1.5 l plastic bottle, thanks mom for bringing it here. It poured hazy brown body with small ivory head. Caramel malt, stale yeast and sourish hop aroma. Dryer flavor, as of those hops, slightly sourish and not well balancing its dark maltiness. Medium body with longer herbal finish, touched with licorice and some boring yeast notes. Gets a bit better when you get used to it. Not so good as their pale one, don’t believe fresh is any better, as this one wasn’t really old.

Another bottle brought by heavy’s mom from Podčetrtek (huge thanks!) Poured a misty brown body with a tiny slightly off white head. Stale yeasty nose, typical for Slovenian micros that are bad or go bad. Light taste, propolis, stale yeast, some light acidity, carbonation bite. Oh well. And apparently it wasn’t in much better shape fresh. The difference in quality between the pale and the dark is staggering like this. I wonder what it tastes like fresh (like, really fresh), and hope to rerate it.
