Bottle, 0.75l. Hazy anber/copper pour, one finger frothy off-white head. Very good retention, long lasting, lots of lacing on the glass as it goes down. Nose is malty, woody, subtle liquory notes, mild fruity notes in the background. Quite nice. Medium body, soft carbonation. Pleasant mouthfeel and texture, soft, moderately chewy, goes down quite nicely. Liquory bittersweet taste with very subtle occasional fruity sour note here and there. Caramel malt, grains, liquor. Wood notes, nutty, toasted malt, floral. A bit spicy. Mild sticky. Long lasting finish, malty, lingering alcohol, warming and a bit dry. Pretty good, actually. Definitely not what I expected. Tasty and well balanced beer.

0.75 l swing-top bottle from Vrutak, bought and shared with Višnja 666 in fear they would soon run out of it. Clear golden, small off-white head. Malts and very faint hops in aroma. Light hoppy bitter, some grass. Light body, medium carbonation, moderate finish. Really nothing special.

Jul. ’15. A 0.75 l bottle from Mali ducan, Split. It poured hazy dark amber body with a big head. A bit stale yeasty, grainy and other related raw malt aroma. Flavor was lightly sweet grainy and acidic, slightly fruity (orange) and grass hop. Not bad, although not strong, but still too yeasty - that stubborn problem they have in most of their beers and even consider good, "crafty". Alcohol was hidden in its medium body, although still felt a little bit. Longer, sweetish finish. A fine take on the strong pils, could be worse.

Given by friend. Nice aroma, but it has too strong alcohol notes. Nothing special but when you compare it with other lagers in Croatia this is preety good.
