0,5l bottle at the hotel room bought at Pivarna Maribor. BB 20.12.2016. amber hazy color, small yellowish / off white head. smells of veggies, bit sour, some herbs, peppery, spices. not very good smell. full body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. tastes lightly citric, some bread, herbs, bit colaish, acidic, almost sour. finishes lighty bitter and rather acidic with some spicy and herbal notes. has some issues this one, could be better.

Bottled. Cloudy amber, rich head. Fruity floral nose with some caramel. Sweetish with medium body and clean rounded mouthfeel. Fruity with notes of fatty caramel. Resinous bitter finish, Lacks hop aromas. Disappointing effort from a good brewer.

Bottle, 0.50l, shared with colleagues. Pours hazy deep amber color with small creamy white head, nice lacing and soft visible carbonation. Aroma of tropical fruits, citrus, herbs and pepper. Taste starts with moderate sweet caramel malt, follows fruity and herbal, then medicinal with rather dry mouthfeel and bitter finish. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Disappointment, expected much more, but it seems I have to get used to Carniola failures...

0.5l bottle. Hazy amber body, thin white head. The aroma is mostly caramelly, but also has some toast and some roasted malts maybe. Taste of caramel with a bit roasted malts and brown sugar. Quite sweet for an IPA and lacks the hop character. It’s also a bit too one dimensional, but still OK.

Pours a hazy light brown color, topped with a very decent off-white head, nice retention. Very pleasant caramel aroma, very biscuity and buttery. Some herbal notes. Taste starts sweet, with notes of caramel. Some moderate bitterness in the end with some herbal notes in the aftertaste. Another great brew from Carniola.

On tap at Brežice Beer Fest. Murky orange/ochre coloured, small off white head, light hoppy nose with hint of passion fruit. Sweetish malty, hoppy, slight dusty alcoholic and touch of spices with bitter fruity spicy finish. Light perfumed also. So far unbalanced but there’s big potential.

Brežice Beer Fest - seems it was first released here, thanks Jaša for pointing it out! Will add more details as soon as I find them out. Poured a dark, murky? amber if I remember correctly. Sweetish aroma hops blast, yeah, guess that’s Hüll Mellon for you... very pleasant. The taste is a spicy/peppery thing goint straight to the bitter blast, slightly beety. Ah, good first try I guess, but there’s plenty of room for improvement. Really glad to have tried it now!
