Aroma is spelzen noble hops. Taste is bitter noble hops with some drinkable franconian pils stuff. Wheat as well. Bitter finish. Boring but no obvious flaw.

On a trip to Ljubljana Beer & Whiskey Festival, this was the first one I opened in the bus, bought beforehand at a store in Slovenske Konjice, Slovenia. Drank from a bottle. Aroma is malty, hay and grass, somewhat pleasant. Neutral sweetness. Medium body, lingering malty finish. Good.

Thanks Ogi for sharing this! Clear golden body with a big, thick white head. Full blast of honey in the aroma. Herbs? Nah, only slightly peppery/dusty. Soft taste, agan honeyish, better than their regular stuff but lacks the hop bitterness that would make it a proper pilsner.

Bottle, 0.33l. Cloudy golden color with small frothy, fully diminishing white head and average sparkling appearance. Aroma of grassy hops, cereals, dust and vegetables. When it gets warmer, floral and fruity aromas occur. Taste starts with moderate sweet toasted malt, follows by grassy acidity and some fruitiness. Mouthfeel is crispy and a bit spicy, while moderate bitter finish keeps alive medium long aftertaste. Light to medium body, slick texture and gentle but lively carbonation in palate. It’s main strength is surprisingly generous amount of hops...

Pours a slightly hazy golden color, topped with an avergae white head, OK retention. There is a pleasant malty aroma, mild but easy to pick up. The body is nicely balanced, pleasant bitterness in the finish. Easy to drink, but still enough taste. Probably the best Union beer.
