Jul ’14. A 0.33 l bottle, courtesy of Marko, huge thanks for sharing another rare gem! It poured hazy brown body with medium sized buff head. Fine orange hop and caramel, raisins malt aroma. Flavor was both bitter and sweet, however more bitterness came from the roasted malt - burnt sugar, a bit of coffee, roasted bread (rye part I guess) than from proper hops which were citric and very suitable for the style. Alcohol was perfectly hidden in its medium to full body. Finish was long, pleasant, lightly sweet and much less bitter than flavor. Nice and pleasant dark IPA, it would only be better, regarding the style that it had more hops and bitterness.

Bottled 330ml. -Courtesy of and shared with Marko (thanks!). Brownish coloured, small to medium sized tannish head, light hops and lactic caramel in the nose. Roasted malt, some hops and light coffee with bitterish hoppy notes in the finish. Ok brew but something is missing here.

Again, huge thanks to RenoMostar and the guys at the brewery for this! Would you look at that - most ex-Yu brewers don’t dare to put a regular Black IPA out, and Oldbridž starts with a rye twist on that - daring, and that’s to be respected - hats off! Murky dark brown body, creamy small tan head. A bit lactic, caramelly nose, some raisins, mixed with subtle notes of aroma hops, some mild alcohol too. Quite roasty, notes of coffee I reckon, creamy, dark malts, some orange-like aromatics blending in. Very interesting stuff happening here, but it’s too subdued unfortunately. You just can’t tell it’s 8.5%, another plus. I hope people like it there so that they can safely introduce more experiments! Rerate: The other bottle gave out a much stronger, enormously citric hopiness in both aroma and taste that overwhelmed the rest. Quite pleasant & +1 overall & aroma.
