0,5 L bottle, bought at Nah und Frisch in Obertraun. Pours a clear, straw color, with a big, fizzy, white head. The aroma is corn syrup, straw, cedar, flowers, and lemon zest. Sweet and lightly bitter. A bit acrid, but smooth, dusty, and clean. Nothing special, but simple, clean, and reasonably tasty.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with small white head, quickly diminishing. Pleasantly fresh on the nose with the grainy and malty notes. Some grassy hops in the background. Medium body, softly carbonated. Texture is smooth, a bit thicker then expected. Moderately bitter taste with some malty sweetness to back it up. Aroma is grains, grass, hay. Malts. Herbal. Refreshing hops. Slight acidity in the aftertaste, lingering throughout the finish. Slightly dry. Overall, a good thirst quencher but it offers nothing really to stand out from the crowd. Ok.

Bottle sample at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks zvikar. Clear yellow with a white head. Aroma of graininess, malt, bread, vegetal note. Flavor has grainy and bready malt, sweetish, with a bitterish finish, a bit grassy. Quite light-bodied. Easy-drinking.

Pours a standard golden color with average white head. The malty aroma is quite strong in this one, slightly smelly too. The taste is expectedly malty with some basic bitterness towards the end. A decent bittery afterfinish. Nothing special, but drinkable enough.

Bottled 500ml. -from Merkur supermarket Graz. Shared with Marko and luttonm. Yellow coloured, small airy white head, touch of honey in rather dusty nose. Sweetish malty, grainy and vegetables (carrot) with notes of herbs in the finish. Not so good but still better than the next one we’ve tried (Adebar Biobier).

Whee, another Raschhofer! Poured a yellow-golden body with a medium sized white head. Eggy grainy sweetish nose. Eggy slightly salty yet globally sweet malty taste with some light herbal hops. A really typical Austrian lager, and that’s generally nothing too positive for me. Raschhofer is great in a way because of their will to experiment a little and do "strange style" seasonals, sometimes even well, but their regular "pale lager" lineup, the Pils, Märzen and this are all unfortunately sub par.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts mild and spicy, the finish is a bit drier, modest sourish. Drinkable and good beer.
