Bottle at LKS. Thanks Danny! It pours darkest brown with a small tan head. The aroma is rich oily, toffee, big bourbon character, oak, pipe tobacco, oily, oak, toff and dark choc bounty bar. The taste is oily, rich, slick, quite chewy, toasty, earthy roast, wood, raisin, fruit cake, toffee, warming alcohol and general filth. Full body and fine carbonation. Rich and filthy. Robust and flavoursome. Pretty great.

Aus der Flasche (bottled 2016-09-16) im 2017-04 getrunken. Holla was für ein geiles Zeug! Dieses fast schwarze Belgische Schwergewicht spielt alle seine Stärken aus. Fette Malzigkeit und dann würzige Bourbon-, ganz leichte Honig- und Eichenfassnoten und das Ganze ohne es wirklich Süß wird. Sensationell gut balanciert.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Really dark brown, beige head,sediment. Dark fruity, Bourbon barrel creamy caramel, also a little cheesy - but subtly so, more like leather. Rich malty taste, dark treacle, Bourbon vanilla, light cheesy bitterness. Great.

Bottle @ home. Black colour with a medium sized light brown head. Smells sweet, bourbon, nutty, chocolate, roasty. Tastes sweet, chocolate, mocca, coffee, bourbon, almond. Pretty great. Full body, soft carbo. Another great De Molen beer!

330mL bottle, pours black with a small light brown head. Aroma brings out a lovely bourbon barrel character upfront, followed by light vanilla, some caramel, soy sauce and a little tartness. Flavour is odd, with soy sauce, bourbon barrels, caramel and tart dark fruits. That tartness hints at a slight infection. Flat carbonation, which I definitely not optimal. Some obvious issues with this bottle, but one could tell this was supposed to be great.

Bottle @ Bullerup Pubben. Pours black with a small head. Bourbon, licorice, Roast , vanilla and coffee. Smooth, slick and delicious. Dammn tasty!

Dark brown color, near black. Nutty combination of dark caramel and bourbon. Moderately sweet, nice blend of dark caramel and mild chocolate, bourbon and warming alcohol, hints of tobacco.
Although not the best from De Molen, this is a very good beer.

Tasting with Alex, Brian and George. 330ml bottle from the Liberty Commercial (thx, Alex!). Aroma and taste are sweet, bourbon, dark fruits, chocolate. Same aftertaste. Amazing beer.
