Bottle. Dark brown black-ish pour. Nice aroma of luscious bourbon vanilla, creamy chocolate, oak, booze and red fruit. Nice sweet flavor of bourbon, red fruit, boozy vanilla, chocolate, oak, raisin, ripe fruit, molasses and a long bourbony finish. Delicious.

Opaque black - brown beer, small tan head. Palate is smooth with reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts with a nice light sweetness. Lovely smooth bourbon, fruity bourbon. Trace of vanilla. Smooth finish. Nothing here that is not in many BA Imperial Stouts but this one has that beautiful integration and smoothness that elevates it about the crowd. Fabulously drinkable.

Sample at Borefts 2016. Poured a clear dark brown with a thin broken off white head. The aroma is toffee caramel fudge. The flavour is moderate sweet with a rich bourbon alcoholic fruity palate and an oily frothy mouthfeel. Full bodied with flat carbonation.

Shared by Craig I believe. Excellent beer. Barrel aged. Sweet and rich, some maple, lots of sugar. Very heavy palate, but also smooth. Low carbonation. Alcohol is noticeable in the flavor but I am not sure what kind of liquor it is. Alcohol on the palate as well, kind of hot, but good.

Butelka 330ml (15.09.2021). Barwa czarna, nieprzejrzysta. Piana beżowa, średnio obfita, szybko znika prawie do zera. Minimalny lacing. Aromat czekoladowy z wyraźną nutą słodkiej wanilii i jakby owoców, malin a w miarę ogrzewania dochodzi nuta drewniana, wytrawna, bourbonu. Aromat podobny do RIS’a ze Stu Mostów leżakowanego w beczce z dodatkiem właśnie malin. Niemniej aromat intensywny, wyraźny z lekkim owocowym kwaskiem.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop Bermondsey and drunk at home. Black beer lasting tan head. Vanilla chocolate ice cream aroma. Apart from the vanilla the barrel character is fairly muted but the bourbon comes through on the finish. Some chocolate vanilla sponge flavour. Bit of heat on the finish. Otherwise its a decent fairly muted barrel aged imperial stout. The dark chocolate aroma and flavour is good. A little heat on thd finish. Very good.
