Draft @ Borefts 2016. Shared with RB Belgian crew. Brune foncée, noire, col beige, café au lait. Arôme au nez malté, belles effluves de barrique, chocolaté, pas mal de café et de grillé. Palais est centré sur la barrique pointe de chaleur en retrait avec un petite mélange rappelant les fruits rouges et noirs sous couvert d’une petite note de vanille Bourbon, malt, caramel, chocolaté, le tout sur un côté bar de chocolat-biscuité croquant avec un côté de dessert.

Thank you Benzai! Sampled draft @ Borefts 2016. Day 2. Black, small tanned head. Nose is massive thick molasses, pure bourbon syrup, vanilla, oak, super thick malts, syrupy. Taste is thick bourbon molasses, sugar, warming, thick chocolate, warming thick malts, suck thick bourbon syrupy goodness, mocha,… Super thick molasses bourbon syrup. Crazily awesome, after so many rubbish De Molen beers at Borefts 2016 they still managed to churn out a BA RIS this spectacularly good.

Draft at Borefts 2016, Day 2. Black with a small tan head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla, oak boozy barrel, fudge, milk chocolate and toffee. Flavour is heavy sweet and moderate bitter. Full bodied with soft carbonation.

Sampled @ Borefts Beer Festival 2016, Day 2. Opaque black color, average sized beige head. Aroma is malts, bourbon, dark malts, soft roast. Taste malts, soft roast, bourbon, dark malts, soft sweet notes and soft bitterness. Thick oily texture, medium to full body, suitable low carbonation. Lovely, absolutely lovely!

Sampled from tap at Borefts 2016. Clear, dark brownish red with a beige head. Sweetish-malty aroma of caramel, raisins, prunes, vanilla and honey. Sweetish-malty taste of caramel, vanilla, honey, raisins and prunes, followed by a medium long, moderately bitter, slightly warming finish. Medium body, slightly oily mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very nice!

van tap @Borefts 2016, donker bruin tot zwart met fijne kaki kraag. aroma is zoet, vanille, chocolade. Smaken zijn redelijk zoet, zacht, glad, vanille, bourbon, enorm subtiel en zacht, supersmaken, glad, cacao, volle chocolade, geroosterd, volle body, zachte co2. gewoon erg lekker. kom maar op met die flessen.
