Bottle on the ferry from Dubrovnik to Split, picked up in Gastro Pomalo, Stari Grad, 25/04/19. Deep mahogany brown with a decent beige covering. Nose is nutty, fruit cake, vanilla, brown sugars, melted caramel. Taste comprises toffee, dates, stewed fruits, figgy jam, treacle, light spice, raisins, rummy notes. Medium bodied, smooth feel ... glides down easilly, light kiss of alcohol in the close. Interesting brew ... good stuff.

Bottled. A red-brown beer with a lazing dark brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, and fruits. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and dried fruits, leading to a bitter bitter finish.

Bottle@Jespers - Black pour with a beige head. Dark sweet malty with notes of dark dried fruit shred, lots of spices, yeast, medium body, heavy spiced and vanilla coalesce into the sweet finish. Bit unbalanced with the overt spices.

Bottle. Malty aroma, roasted malts, plums, raisins, light cinnamon notes. Tastes the same as aroma, apricot notes, alcohol, light sweet, light to medium bitter. Full body, lively carbonation and malty bitter sweet finish with fruity alcohol notes. Ok.

Jan. 17. On tap at Leopold's. It poured a dark brown, almost black body with a small brown head. Nice peaty and dried fruit aroma of dark malts, including cocoa, caramel, chocolate and everything in between in in the palette of toasted malts. Light cinnamon as well. Nice. Flavor was a bit less impressive, straightforward strong scotch with sourish coffee punch at first. Then, vanilla and some realistic dried fruits notes came in, but the latter had a light metallic touch from oxidation unfortunately. Smoothed with cocoa and chocolate. Full bodied, the most so of any Croatian craft I've tried that far, which I liked the most about it. Long finish followed, while it diminishes slowly with cinnamon and plums dominating its ending part. A bit too intense scotchy but all in all, quite a decent and distinct beer, perfect for the time of year.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Rating the first batch which seemed better than the last one I’ve tried. Pours dark brown with light brownish head. Spicy, caramel, vanilla, dried fruit, dark fruit, plums. Nice, smooth creamy texture. Moderate sweetness. Medium bodied. Complex, yet easy drinkable. Very good.

On tap at Hop In Zagreb. Dark Brown coloured, small beige head, some dried fruits in the nose. Sweet malty, dried fruits, plums, cinnamon and touch of wood with balanced notes of alcohol and rather sweet finish. Quite nice indeed.

On tap at Hop In Craft Bar, Kanal, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Dark brown, small lasting off-white to tan head. Licorice, marzipan, roasty, definitely vanilla, light wood aromas, cocoa, perfumed, sugars, prunes. Dry, roasty, aromatic. Medium body, medium carbonation, dry lasting finish. What an aroma, interesting and complex!
