Blond-colored beer with great citric aromas of orange, grapefruit and lemon, followed by fresh hop notes; the combination of sweet and bitter lends this beer a great harmony.

Bottiglia.

Bottled. Golden colour, small off-white head. Aroma is hrbal, some floral notes. Flavour is herbal, some sweet malts, biscuits, mild floral tones with some strange acidic bitterness towards the finish. Strange.

American style pale ale by this new Italian craft brewer near Venice, from a steinie bottle of 33 cl. Quite enthusiastic gusher – something went wrong with conditioning here. Thick, stable, egg-white, cobweb-lacing head over a hazy peach blonde beer speckled with the tiniest dead yeast dots – turning everything cloudy in the end. Aroma of raw pineapple, mango peel, lychee wine, honey, stewed apple, ripe Doyenné pear, sweetbread, cooked carrot and a light onset of rusty oxidation. Sweet, fruity, estery onset, apple, peach and a touch of mango paired with early citrusy fraîcheur, minerally carbonation; bready and caramelly malt sweet body with vague metallic, even already slightly oxidized edges. Sweet orange and mango-ish notes returns retronasally, but the malt sweetness and yeasty effects remain and disturb the hop’s display a bit, even ending a bit rooty and earthy. Very Belgian in style, like all those new artisanal Belgian IPAs, suffering from overt yeast effects, gushing and age – clearly a bit too old, but I can imagine this being better and more refreshing from tap in young condition.

Bottle. Pours unclear dirty yellow. Aroma is bready citric hops, grains. Body is light, rather bitter with a soft carbonation. Low flavours. Okay.

Tasting at Matt’s
Hazy golden color. Dry beer, with grainy malts, light cardboard, and not much hop quality. Probably old; not exciting.

Blonde, touch of haze. The aroma is phenolic, Crackery, has a mellow bit of pale malt, but otherwise there’s not a lot of character. The hops aren’t really bright or anything. Kind of dull.

330mL bottle, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out dull floral hops and biscuity malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with dull floral hops, some cardboard, and biscuity malt. Uninspired, probably a bit old, but not bad.

Bottled 500ml. -Courtesy of Marko, shared with him and Hrabren. Golden coloured, small off-white head, mild herbal nose. Moderate malty, light fruity hoppy, touch of herbs and some acidity in the finish. Not bad but...

330ml bottle from 2016 craft beer advent calendar. Pours a murky gold with plenty of sediment floating around and a medium, frothy, long lasting, off-white head that laces nicely. Sweet citric aroma of orange, grapefruit, lemon, pine and pale malt. Sweet flavour of orange peel, lemon, pine, pale malt, herbal and yeast with a dry, bitter grass finish. Light body with an oily texture and average carbonation. Not bad.
