Roodbruin bier met weinig schuim. Smaak is licht zuur en fruitig met iets van calvados en wijn. Persoonlijk vind ik dit bier iets te zuur voor een Barley Wine. Smaak blijft wel mooi lang hangen.

Håndverkølfestivalen 2017. Dark golden-orange colorn with an off-white head. Aroma is grapes, fruit, vinous. Flavor is sugar, alcohol, fruit, grapes, vinous, dried fruits, caramel. Full body. Very nice beer.

Draught @ 8th. BBF 2016 [ 8th Borefts Beer Festival 2016 ] @ Brouwerij de Molen, Bodegraven, Netherlands. [ As Alvinne Cuvée D’Erpigny Sauternes BA ].Light unclear medium yellow orange colour with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, wine, dried fruit, grapes, grapes - wine. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light light acidic with a average to long duration, tart, grapes, wine, dried fruit. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. Tap at Borefts 2017 day 1. Hazy light brown with beige head. Caramel, figs, red wine, vanilla, bitter herbs, oak, alcohol. Ove rmedium sweet and bitter. Full bodied with some alcohol. It's OK but it's a bit too strong for me.

Great mix of beer, wine and wood. Sweet with a dry aftertaste, nice and thick. Nothing weird, just very well made. Lovely.
