Pumpker is a fall seasonal beer, refined by adding hokkaido and butternut squash, and spices that give it its characteristic flavor and recognizable aroma. It pairs excellently with all sweet and savory squash dishes.

0.50l bottle. Aroma if pumpkin, tropical fruit, nutmeg and caramel. Pours cloudy orange golden color with medium sized creamy white head, yeast residue and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts refreshing citrusy and vegetably, following is bready, tannic, mouthfeel is smooth, while finish is light bitter. Light to medium body, slick texture and average carbonation in palate. I miss more pumpkin and spices…

Bottle, 0.5l. Hazy orange pour, three finger creamy off-white head, good retention, lasting head, sticky lacing on the glass. Interesting on the nose, herbal and grassy, spices, light sour notes. Light body, lively carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel and texture, slightly watery, fizzy, soft. Easily drinkable. Balanced sweet and sour taste. Malty aroma, bread, pumpkin, ripe fruits. Spicy notes, light cinnamon, yeast. Mild lingering citrus sour notes, light tart. Sticky. Wheat notes in the aftertaste. Short to medium lasting finish, slightly tart. Not bad.

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Pours hazy orange, creamy white head. Malty, pumpkin, spicy, cinnamon. Sweetish. Soft carbonation, smooth. Medium bodied. Usually not a big a fan of the style but this is quite good for what it is.

A new rating, 2018 edition. 0,33 l bottle form Grunt shop, Kvatrić, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Hazy golden, minimal head. Aroma is pumpkin, cinnamon, clove, ginger, light spices, light malts. Flavour is kinda sugary, candy-like with a pumpkin touch. Light sweetness, no tartness, no bitterness or hop flavours. Medium body, moderate carbonation, Light spicy finish, no flaws. On tap at Hop In craft bar, Kanal, Zagreb. Clear orange to amber, small off-white head. Pumpkin, vegetable, malts, some caramel, light spicy. Sweet, malty and fruity, some light tartness from the pumpkin I guess. Medium body, medium to high carbonation, metallic abrupt finish. Begins nice, but it doesn’t live up to the standards.

On tap at HopIn Zagreb, shared with Marko. Orange/golden coloured, small white head, whiff of pumpkin in the nose. Sweet malty, light bready, mild notes of (X-mas) spices, touch of pumpkin and caramel with dusty sweetish finish. Not bad for first Croatian pumpkin beer.

On tap at Hop In, shared with ogivlado. Misty amber/red body. Light cloves, bready notes, some maltiness in the aroma. Malt-driven taste, cloves, maybe cinnamon. OK, nice spiced beer, not overly so, well balanced and harmonious in flavor more or less. Perhaps their best beer at the moment.
