On tap at Damián Pours hazy goldish. Aroma is somewhere between wet socks and nothing. Medium body, rather flat. Medium to light bitterness. Dry finish. Hmm. Next?

Tap at Zly casy. Needless amount of caramelly malt, also light diacetyl. More body than needed. Med-high bitterness. Citrusy zesty hops character. Average-good.

Die kleine Brauerei braut allerlei IPAs amerikanischen Typs. Dieses ist mit Bravo, Citra- und Cascade-Hopfen gebraut, die ihm einen feinen herben Geschmack geben. Nicht immer verfügbar und nur gezapft oder in 1l-Plastikflaschen erhältlich, aber ein gutes Bier. Besonders für Freunde amerikanischer Biere.

Tasting at Višnja 666’s place. Shared with Goran, Višnja and Marko. Thanks Višnja for bringing this from Prague! 1 l plastic bottle. Murky dirty golden, off-white head. Unclear, malty, dry fruits, no hops. Toasty and not bitter at all. High carbonation, light body, abrupt finish. This is really bad. Czech IPAs rarely have enough hops, but this is bad even if we ignore that fact.

Thanks Višnja & Goran! Shared with Hrabren and them. Misty amber-golden body with a tiny white head. Light buttery malty aroma, hop-free. Taste... Buttery maltiness.. so, yeah, diacetyl, light bitterness. Watery, empty bitter finish. And it’s as fresh as the rest of them so it didn’t lose anything. Also the most expensive of the beers we’ve had that day. And the worst Czech attempt at an IPA I’ve seen in a while. So much promise on the label & everything and then... someone forgot to hop it I guess. Functions as a beer, kinda. As an IPA, not at all. I’m almost overrating this.

Aroma: Sweet, very light fruity.
Appearance: Hazy orange color. Medium, white head.
Taste: Medium sweet, medium bitter, caramel, light fruity.
Palate: Medium body. Light bitter, light warm finish.
Overall: Average czech IPA.
