0,5 can. A rather unremarkable can, a Van Pur strong lager. It was nice when filled, a deep golden color, and a surprisingly large and persistent, dense white head. Aroma: this is not bad either. Along with a little alcohol, you can smell quite normal malt, with a tiny bit of stinging hops. So far so good, but now comes the point. It was very sweet. The alcohol is also strongly felt, it doesn't blend into the beer. By the way, it's full-bodied, not much carbonation, but that's just right for such a strong beer. There's little bitterness, you can also smell a little can taste, more like stale maltiness, but it's still drinkable. If someone just wants to get drunk, it'll get them drunk cheaply, I don't plan on doing that, and I don't plan on buying this again... I guess Van Pur brews the same thing under a different brand name, they just put it in a different can...

Eléggé jellegtelen doboz, egy Van Pur strong lager. Kitöltve amúgy szép volt, mély arany szín, és meglepően nagy és tartós, sűrű fehér hab. Aroma: ez sem vészes. Egy kis alkohol mellett egész normális malátát érezni, egy icipici szúrós komlóval. Eddig rendben van, de a lényeg most jön. Édes volt nagyon. Az alkohol is erősen érződik, nem simul a sörbe. Egyébként testes, szénsav sem sok, de az pont jó egy ilyen erős sörhöz. Keserűség kevés, egy kis doboz-íz is érződik, inkább csak állott-malátásság, viszont azért meg lehet inni. Ha valaki egyszerűen csak be akar rúgni, akkor ettől olcsón be fog, én nem tervezek ilyesmit, és ezt sem tervezem újra venni... Gondolom más márkanév alatt is ugyanezt főzik Van Pur-ék, csak más dobozba teszik...

0.5 l can as Leon Steiner 7.2% Strong Beer. Shared with the Jolly Rogers at the recording session. Dark golden to amber colour, small off-white head. Lean grainy malty aroma, some caramel and toasted bread. Rough malty, spice, some alcohol. Medium body, moderate carbonation, some warmth, some bitterness in the finish. Not unpleasant.

Noch ein Mitbringsel eines slowakischen Kollegen vom dortigen Kaufland 🛍️. Nach den grauslichen anderen Leon Steiner-Bieren erwartete ich mir von der Strong-Variante nicht viel. Doch das Bier war. doch nicht so widerlich. Natürlich weit entfernt von lecker, aber auch nicht ganz zum Speiben grauslich. Es ist picksüß 🧁 und stark alkoholisiert 🥴 und dient der schnellen Vernichtung von Gehirn- 🧠 und Leberzellen.
