On tap at Sedmica. Pours black with tan head. Nice roastiness, malty, chocolate, coffee, dry and bitter finish. Medium bodied. Very smooth. Felt a bit over carbonated, but I guess that was just me cause no one else picked it up.

Feb. ’16. On tap at Leopold’s, Split. It poured hazy brown body with a small head. Fine and pungent caramel, cocoa and coffee aroma with equally strong herbal and light citrus hops. Yeast was quite much notable, too. Flavor was similar, orange and herbal hop bitterness with a strong caramel and coffee malt counterpart. Also, a bit more subtle chocolate/cocoa that made it smooth on palate. Medium body with long bitter herbal finish now even lightly overwhelming the malt. Alcohol was very well hidden. A nice, almost flawless stout and very close to the first Croatian IS!

Pitch black colored, medium to small creamy tan head, not too lasting. Aroma is chocolate, roasted coffee, licorice, bit herbal hoppy. Taste is medium sweet chocolate, roasted malt and dark chocolate, some licorice, medium- roasty bitterness, light herbal notes, dryish finish. Medium+ bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Beefcake of a stout. (on tap, Ro&Do, Zagreb)

On tap at Caffe bar Sedmica Zagreb. Almost black coloured, medium sized brown head, light hops and alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, dark chocolate, strong but pleasant herbal hops and notes of alcohol with mild bitter roasty finish. Smooth and enjoyable stout.

On tap at Sedmica. Black body, grayish head. Nice soft roasty aroma, maltiness, caramel, mild chocolade, soft herbal note perhaps. Lovely roasty taste, very dark chocolate, good bitterness - herbal. Rough, but in a good way, no flaws, roasty aftertaste. The soft herbal notes from the hops do show up blended into the rest. Nicely heavy but not too heavy. This is a pretty top notch stout all in all, can’t wait for more along these lines from these guys!

On tap at Varionica, this is a birthday edition American stout. Happy birthday Varionica (=Brewery)! Dark brown to black, reddish tint, brownish firm head. Heavily hopped, herbal and maybe floral. Bitter kick, hoppy character, medium carbonation and medium body. Strong finish catches up with roasty bitterness. Good stout on the bitter side.
