Tasted with, among others Ogivlado and Hrabren (thanks for the split!). At Sheridan’s, one of the last 2-3 bottles. Poured a clear brown/red copperish body with an off white head. Fruity, cooky dough aroma, perfumey, apricot, quite lovely. The taste.... nice peachy, aromatic notes, subtle light cookie dough again, nice bitterness, mild honey in the finish turning into a bitter aftertaste. But one dimensional and too watery - even if it’s a correct beer. If it was presented as an APA, it would be quite good, not buying the Red IPA thing. Would drink again, even if it’s not that moreish.

0.5 l bottle shared with Marko. Clear ruby red, medium frothy lasting off white head. Fruity hops, herbal notes, malty background. Light dry finish, but could be hoppier. Malty sweetness, medium body. Biscuit, and some dry fruits. Not bad.

Bottle from O’Brien’s, Athlone [130815]
Copper colour, clear, frothy off white head, good colour
Aroma of fruity malts, soft fruits, slight orange, soft lemon zest, soft nose
Taste of fruity caramel malts, dab of toasted malts, slight hint of lemon, bit more zesty hops come through as it warms up, balanced flavour, easy going
Palate - Soft carb, medium light body, soft bitter. Finish has some more zest, clean palate, soft bitter linger.
Overall - Clean, surprisingly subdued for a US/Ireland collab, not exciting, but comes across a solid Irish Red (not an IPA), better than the standard O’Hara’s one

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Tom L. Clear amber with an off-white head. Aroma of skunky hops and stale malt. Flavor has sweetish chalky malt, minerals, and bitter hops. Medium-bodied. Not really an IPA.

Bottle from McHughs. Dark Amber with a frothy head. Aroma is dusty caramel. Flavour is fruity malt, musty caramel, even bitter spice, tangy on the lips. Long dry finish.
