Jan. ’16. On tap at the brewpub. It poured a very dark brown, almost black body with medium sized latte head. Again herbal hop aroma. A bit sour unpasteurized in, too, with roasted malt base. Lightly bitter flavor, both hoppy and roasted. The latter consisted of pleasant coffee and cocoa, elegant, especially pronounced in the finish which was even lightly sweet with dark chocolate/cocoa notes. Lightly bitter in the finish, too, with herbal hops. Medium bodied. By far the best of the three, especially since this one wasn’t flawed (metal). A nice schwarz.

On tap, Potepuh Festival, Zagreb. Pours dark brown with creamy beige head. Roasted malts, coffee notes, sweetish. Light to medium bodied. Dry finish. Simple and seems bit watery.

On tap at the Potepuh beer fest. Black body (almost, maaybe slightly tinged with amber), with a creamy beige head.. Dusty, roasty aroma, slightly sweet, raisins. Nice. The taste repeats most of those, but is overly light and just a tad soapy. Still, it’s a good beer, and I’m sure it will serve its purpose well.

On tap at Potepuh beer festival in Zagreb. Black with orange caramel tint. Off white head. Light roasty aroma. Roasty feeling in the beginning, light body, sugary, but nice roasty malts sweetness. Rubber. Stout-like. Too light.

On tap at Pivovara Razum Samobor. Almost black coloured, medium sized beige head, mild nutty nose. Slightly vinous roasted malt, caramel and chocolate with hint of coffee and dryish roasty finish. Not bad but pretty ordinary.

Quite dark brown to black colored, medium to strong tan head. Aroma is chocolate, roasted malt, some fruits and bit of yeast. Taste is moderate sweet caramel, bit of brown sugar, chocolate, roasty finish with some toasty yeast. Low to medium bodied, moderate carbonation.
