Dieses Bier hat mir nur wenig Freude bereitet. Es ist verdammt wässrig und hat wenig Geschmack. Es erinnert an ein alkoholfreies Bier, das man mit Sprudelwasser gestreckt hat. Einfach nicht gut.

Crystal clear golden coloured body with a thinnish, fast-dying white head. Aroma of funk, light earth, malt and a faint bit of hops. Super light-bodied; Strong flavour of cardboardie malt and a touch of light hops with very little else - perhaps some mild sugars. Aftertaste is mainly sweet with caster sugar, but also showing some cereal and water. Overall, a pretty bland beer, but now it makes sense, given that it’s only 3% abv - which I didn’t know, otherwise I wouldn’t have bought this! I sampled this 50 cL bottle purchased a few minutes ago at Merkur Hoher Markt in central Wien, Austria on 22-March-2016 for €0,98 sampled in my apartment hotel in the centre of Wien, Austria on 22-March-2016.

Thanks to whoever brought this to DPP so I don’t need to waste money on it the next time I’m in Austria. Pale golden body, small white head. Dry, dusty grainy, corn-like really dull sweet aroma. Sweet, creamy taste, again notes of corn, nothing else. Exceedingly dull, even for the ABV. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Zipfer Urtyp Medium on 22 Feb 2010 at 13:13 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 3 | Flavor - 4 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4. Original review text: Can from Graz. Poured a yellow body with a small whtie head. Light malty nose, appley and honeyish, light and malty. Ordinary. The taste isn’t all that different, grainy and malty, appley. Not much worse than the regular Urtyp, which doesn’t mean that it’s all that good.

Golden, clear, medium-sized and firm white head; metallic-papery nose over a delicate sweetish-grainy background; mild bitter-sweet flavour, harsh and light bodied; short and simple sweet-bitter finish. No…

Pours a clear golden straw color, topped with generous white head. Mild malty aroma, sweet grains. Taste is too sweet, a bit watery with no real bitterness. One of the worst Zipfers, too bad. --- Beer aliased from original tick of Zipfer Urtyp Medium on 14 Aug 2015 at 15:23 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 4 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4. Original review text: Pours a clear golden color, topped with a decent white frothy head. Mild grainy aroma, not much in there really. Body is light, a bit watery. Sweet start, bitterish finish. Decent lower alcohol beer. Nothing great in general though.
