Bottled 500ml. -Cloudy golden coloured, medium sized white head, herbalish grainy nose. Malty, slightly bready, grassy hoppy and touch of oranges with mild bitterish finish. Bit watery but easy-drinkable beer.

Spring 2018 rating: A rerate as it's apparently going to be fully replaced by the Pils! Bottle at Teatro, Požega. Ever so slightly hazy golden body with a white head. Lightly soapy/yeasty aroma, perhaps somewhat flowery. Lean, vague, thin perfumey/soapy taste, a bit bitterish, but generally clean, if subdued. Okay beer in this iteration, a far cry from what it was at times, but the pils is simply a better beer!Mid-2015 rating:Thanks Anna for sharing this with us! I cannot begin to express how excited I was to see another new brewery start in Slavonia, Croatia’s mismanaged breadbasket, especially in a town where so many people dear to me come/came from like Požega, and run by homebrewers who definitely know what they are doing. Poured a full yellow murky body with a small white head with good retention. Crackery/grainy aroma, with very vague, light fruity/hoppy notes, but very vague. Taste... earthy, slightly beety, you can sense Gradiška’s "signature", but Aurora’s nowhere to be seen. It was fresh, quite drinkable and a good beer. Though it wasn’t flawless, it’s still better than anything pale the macros put out - and that’s exactly the niche the brewers were aiming at, so, it’s commendable in its own way. It won’t particularly thrill beer geeks but it does its job. MBC has taken the logical route of not assaulting an unsuspecting and sadly uneducated (through no fault of their own for the biggest part) public with something wild and strange (which they have the knowledge for), but making a name (and a capital) for itself by something not that wildly different from what the general public is used to, but local and better. And they have succeeded in my opinion. 5/4/5/3/12
