50cl bottle from Väike Roosa Õllepood, Tallinn. Pours very dark brown with a lasting beige head. Mild roasty and caramelly aroma with notes of dark fruits and hints of wood. Medium sweet with mild malty flavours and a light bitterness. Easy to drink, but hardly interesting.
Old rating:
On tap at Traveller’s Pub and Club, Tallinn. Black with a small beige head. Some slightly sour, wooden and berry like aroma is dominating. Doesn?t seem well kept and fresh. Mild roasty notes is also present. Sour and not very pleasant. Pretty sure this one has gone bad. Will probably retry on a later occasion. Bottled at Karja Kelder. Opaque black/brown color, good creamy beige head. Papery, a bit boozy, toasted malty with some caramel. Medium-bodied. Toasted malty flavor with some milky notes. Finish had good amount of Czech hops with ticking bitterness. Quite nice.
