Mine [maina] is our fourth beer, beer dedicated to brave miners of Međimurje county. Minne was as well a German goddess of love and fertility. Cheers!

Canned, 330 ml. Way better than last time. Some piney hoppiness, bitterish finish. Smooth. Caramel, light+ bodied.

Pours dark brown, topped with medium tan head. Mild biscuity malty nose with some hoppy fruitiness in the aroma. A bit of nuttiness. Taste gently fruity sweet with medium bitterness. Lasting aftertaste. Lighter body. Not typical brown ale, still easily drinkable and decent.

Dark brown colored, medium frothy to creamy nice beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is of some toasted malt, bit chocolate, some toffee, light herbal hops, some cabbage, bit soury. Taste is medium sweet toasted malt, some chocolate and toffee, bit citrus and herbal hops, again some sour cabbage, medium bitterness. Medium bodied, soft+ carbonation. On its way out... On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Darker amber coloured, medium sized creamy pale beige head, weak caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, caramel, light herbal hops and bitter sweet notes in the finish. Drinkable but nothing special here.

On tap at All In (thanks Denis!). Well, got a bit of a yeast shot (first pour) at first, but tried "clean" too. Slightly misty nice chestnut body. The aroma mixes dry maltiness with light citric hops, with the latter sometimes winning out - with an unfortunate yeasty presence that stayed there in the background both in the clean and the yeast-shot version, just enough to annoy. The taste stays along similar lines, with the citric-herbal hoppiness standing in front of a slightly too neutral dry malty backbone, light as expected for the body. It's as if the hops just didn't give out their best. With a couple of tweaks this will be a welcome addition to the portfolio, as it does have potential. Will rerate it ASAP too, and I really hope they keep on growing from batch to batch. While not stellar, this is so far their best beer I've tried.
