In beer world, it's really hard to imagine a summer season without a Session IPA. Session is a beer with a low percentage of alcohol. So, that's why our hoppy wonder has only 4,9 % ABV. Columbus and Mosaic hops form a dynamic duo in this Session IPA, and 4,9% ABV is a fine guarantee that you'll just keep drinking and drinking and drinking Hladovina (Shade). This beer gives you the best of both worlds - strong hoppiness and freshness of classic American IPAs, but it's also very drinkable, just like classic English Session Bitters that gave Session its name. A match made in beer heaven for all the Hopheads - now just chill in the shade with a glass of Hladovina! ;)

Pours dark orange, small white head, almost no retention. Aroma citrus and pine, lasts into taste. But too hoppy for session IPA. Medium carbonation and body. Balanced it is but expected something lighter. Not bad, not excellent.

On tap at Hop In, Kanal, Zagreb in summer of 2017. Shared with lovely Anja. Murky golden, small off-white head. Moderately to heavily hopped, fruity, tropical aroma, resiny. Light bitterness. Light body, soft to moderate carbonation, intense dry finish. Refreshing. When the hop aromas developed, it turned out great. Lovely finish!

nova runda hladovina On tap @Wok & Pizza, Varaždin. Cloudy orange pour, one finger frothy off-white head. very good retention, long lasting. Nice and thick lacing on the glass. Nose is clean and fresh, nicely hoppy with strong herbal and grassy accent. Medium body, medium carbonation. Smooth on the palate, moderately thick texture. Pleasantly bitter taste, refreshingly herbal. Aroma is hoppy, citrus notes, grassy. Again, lovely herbal notes. Very tasty. Nice peppery touch, some grainy notes in the aftertaste. Finishes long and pleasantly bitter. Overall, very good brew. Fresh and clean, very refreshing and highly drinkable. Tasty one.

On tap at Makro Beer fest in Maribor. Pours hazy orange, topped with medium sized white head. Grassy nose with nice fruitiness. Moderately fruity bitter, grapefruit. Quite dry finish. Lasting aftertaste. Lighter body. Nice one.

On tap, various locations. Pours unclear orange with medium white head. Hoppy aroma, citrus, herbal, pine. Moderate bitterness in finish, light bodied. Low carbonation. OK.

On tap at Hop In Zagreb. Orange/pale amber coloured, medium sized white head, herbal hoppy nose. Moderate malty, herbal and citrusy hoppy, light grassy and again heavy hoppy with strong bitter finish and aftertaste. Slightly low carbonation but well done brew.

On tap at Hop In. Murky peachy body, good white head, medium retention. Columbus owns the aroma, onion, lighly dank, herbal, citric, light tropical touches. Hop all over the taste, tropical fruit, herbal, tangerine, orange, onion, citrus, well integrated, light bitterness, creamy. Just sliiightly flat, but otherwise perfect for the style. Pure pwnage.
