Светло пиво с горна ферментация (ейл) (cat.21B, BJCP 2015) Срещнахме класическият баварски вайцен с модерен американски светъл ейл. Съчетахмe oсвежаващия вкус на немското пиво с ярката тропическа горчивина на американските хмелове. Допълнихме банановите и карамфилени аромати на вайцена с аромат на грейпфрут, портокал и манго, като приложихме и сухо охмеляване по време на съзряване на пивото. Наздраве!

On tap at Craft Room, Zagreb. Hazy golden,small white head. Fruity aroma, nice citrus banana. Sweetish, some wheat, light bodied, quite simple. Seems nice, even refreshing.

On tap at Craft Room Zagreb. Hazy lemon yellow coloured, minimal white head, banana and green apples in the nose. Light wheaty, light fruity, light phenolic and some weak herbal hoppy notes with some bitterness in the finish. Hmmmm...no no no...

Tap at Craft Room. Murky ochre body, lasting white head. Weird fruity aroma, like passionfruit yoghurt, or maybe not, bubblegum? Not quite. Uh. Sweetish. Flat taste, too dry, some bubblegum esters and caramel are there though mixed with tropical hop notes, vaguely herbal, light phenolic touch in the finish. Not their best beer. With a fuller body, more carbonation. It might have worked... Like this, I’ll struggle to finish the pint.

BOTTLE 33 CL. Hazy muddy golden, white head. The aroma is of a fruity weizen, notes of shredded green apples, not much hops. Similar taste, green apples, subdued malts, mouth coating wormwood bitterness. Mediocre. And short on hops.

Bottle sample at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks troubles. Cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Sourish aroma, somewhat funky, with fruitiness, grains. Dry flavor with a light tart note, kinda funky, with some harsh bitterness. Medium-bodied. Infected.

Pours a hazy pale golden color, topped with a small white head, quite lasting. Wheaty nose with very obvious apricot notes. Moderate bitterness with quite spicy feel. Later on more noticeable sweetness of the fruits. Light body, a bit sparkly. Peppery finish.
