Bottle. Huge head with good duration. It takes a while to actually get to drink the beer because of this head. Aroma and taste are roast malt, nuts, hops, caramel and has a nice roasty finish.

24/11/2023. Bottle bought at Šamon Wine & Spirits, Sarajevo. Pours dark mahogany brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma is malty, roasted, chocolate, coffee, toffee, nutty, bready. Medium sweetness with moderate roasted bitterness. Medium body, smooth, soft carbonation. Good beer, 3 in a row I’ve had from this brewery.

Bottle, 0.33l, courtesy and shared with Marko. Aroma of roasted malt, dark chocolate, caramel and grass. Pours cloudy brown color with thin tan-like head and fair lacing. Tastes of medium sweet roasted malt and nuts, licorice and grass with slight piney and earthy note. Medium body, oily texture and average carbonation in palate. Brown ale on stout steroids...

Bottled 330ml. -Almost black coloured, medium sized beige head, mild caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel, light nutty and touch of chocolate with touch of coffee in rather dry finish. Not bad.

Bottle, 6th Croatian homebrew competition, thanks Gale! Dark brown body with an off white head. Full, lovely nutty & caramelly classic brown ale aroma. The excellent nutty and caramelly notes continue on into the taste, let down only by a slightly flat finish. Very, very good attempt at the style and the best (commercial) Gorštak so far!
