Everything we like about Cascade and Centennial hops came together in this wonderful hop named Citra. Citra is a new variety and soon after it was released it became craft brewers’ favorite to go to hop for its distinctive citric, mango, melon, grapefruit, orange rind and passion fruit aromas! Although sharing some foundation and malt profile, in our new beer Single HOP Citra you should feel significant boost of aroma compared to our Single Hop Cascade beer.

Hazy amber, small off-white head. Light malty, caramel and leaves, light herbal. Mostly malty nicely balanced with light bitterness. Thin to medium body, soft to moderate carbonation, light finish. Good.

Bottled 500ml. -from Vrutak Zagreb. Clear golden coloured, small white head, mild citrusy nose. Moderate malty, light citrusy hoppy, bit grainy and touch of herbs with light bitterness in the finish. Nothing special here.

On tap at the 6th Croatian homebrew competition. Poured a darker amber body with a white head. As the slightly darker color suggested, the maltiness went grainy up front with a distinct but light citra presence up in the back. A light grainy taste, too grainy, bit sweetish, backed with a mild tropical/citric citra hoppiness. Okay lite APA but they can do better, and will when they rebrew it, I’m sure of that!

Tap at Hrvatsko Homebrew Prvenstvo. Easy drinking. Quite sweet in taste, with lots of caramelly maltiness. However it is balanced by moderate bitterness and lots of juicy fruity hoppiness, slightly grassy as well. Quite good.
