Dark opaque brown color, small steady beige head, some lace. Stong expresso aroma.Light bodied, liquerish palate. Malty, lightly caramelly flavor with strong coffee, tobacco finish. These coffee bean beers are not easy to brew but this is kind of ok as it is not all coffee.

10th December 2012
Opaque black - brown beer, good pale tan head. Sharp coffee nose. Palate is smooth and pretty dry. Strong fresh coffee. Undertone of sweet fruits and whispers of bubblegum ester and dry wood. Dry finish. Pretty drinkable.

Bottle at Beer Rebellion, Crystal Palace. It pours darkest brown with no head whatsoever. The nose is instant coffee, sweet, toasty sugars and faint spice/chili pepper. The taste is coffee, toast, earth, touch of sweetness and liquorice with a dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Tastes decent, but it is sadly let down by the bottle condition or lack thereof.
