»Pred nami se tako postavi popolnoma črn kremasti zvarek svilnatega ter polnega telesa in skorajda popolnega izgleda. V aromi nas začnejo omamljati prijetne note temne čokolade z nepogrešljivim pridihom vanilije, iz ozadja pa nas na nepozabno doživetje pripravlja še praženi pridih. Srednjo praženost bomo okusili najprej - iz nje pa se bo nato razvilo zelo veliko prijetnih čokoladnih in vanilijevih tonov. V zaključku nato v popolnosti zavlada vanilija, še posebej če pivu pustimo, da se nekoliko segreje, v pookusu pa se seznanimo še z nekaj praženimi, skorajda že kavnimi notami in čisto milo in nežno toplino.«
Oatmeal Stout je nežno karboniziran, izjemen temni kremasti zvarek, z lepo prikrito višjo alkoholno stopnjo. Srednja stopnja praženosti z zmerno dodano vanilijo, nam postreže s široko paleto arom in okusov, ki pridejo še posebej do izraza če pivu dopustimo da se nekoliko ogreje. Popolna izbira za hladnejše večere v dvoje.

Bottled@HBF2018. Black colour with a small beigeish brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some toffee, wheat and mild vanilla and wooden notes. Flavour is roasted, some ripe fruits, oatmeal, mild vanilla and some slight spiciness along with a bit of ashes.

ABV: 6.5%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, light beige head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, oat, roasted, chocolate, oatmeal, vanillas. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a long duration, vanilla, sweet vanills, chocolate - milk chocolate, dark malt, oat - oatmeal. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20200531]

Bottle. Dark brown with medium beige head. Aroma of chocolate, vanilla, very light coffee notes. Taste, coffee, cholae, vanilla. Medium bodied, tasty beer.

On tap at Macro Beer Fest Maribor 2017. Shared with lovely Anja. Black, medium creamy lasting tan head. Lightly roasty, nutty, can't pick out the vanilla. Sweet, vanilla present in the flavour. Light body, soft carbonation, creamy texture, light finish. Good one.

Black colored, medium tan creamy head, nice lasting. Aroma is of malt, roasted malt, dark chocolate, some coffee, vanilla. Taste is medium+ sweet malt, milk and dark chocolate, roasted malt, vanilla, medium- roasty bitterness, bittersweet finish. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, creamy. Actually I’d prefer it without the oversweetish vanilla taste which, to me, tastes a bit artificial. (bottle, Primoz, Ljubljana)

Bottle, 0.5l. Pitch black pour with one finger creamy beige head. Medium retention, decent lacing. Nose is absolutely beautiful. Rich with coffee, cocoa and chocolate. Medium body, softly carbonated. Texture is somewhat light, but overall mouthfeel and palate is silky smooth. Roasty bittersweet taste. Aroma similar to nose, rich and tasty. Good malt character, caramel, toffee. Roasted coffee grains, cocoa powder, dark chocolate. Subtle vanilla in the background. Slight alcohol presence. Moderately bitter finish, medium lasting. Overall, very tasty. Rich, fairy complex and beautifully balanced - this one is an excellent stout. Best one I had from Hopsbrew so far. Well done.

Bottled 500ml. -from Craft Room Zagreb. Black coloured, medium sized brown head, chocolate in the nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, some coffee, noticable vanilla and light roasty finish. Quite nice and enjoyable.

Craft Room. Black body, almost no head. Very pleasant milk chocolate and vanilla aroma. Lovely chocolate taste with hazelnut and light vanilla. Vague coffee. Lovely, lovely, bit flat and dryish, but the flavors are great. Almost world class. Almost.

Black with little brown head. Aroma is dried leaves, coffee, vanilla, chocolate. Taste is sweet chocolate and slight bitter coffee. Almost totally smooth. Amazing for less than 7 abv. Very full bodied. Some nut syrup in the finish prevented it from being much better.
