Bottle, 0.75l. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee, alcohol and spices. Pours clear pitch black color with thin quickly diminishing light brown head and average sparkling appearance. Taste starts with moderate sweet and rich roasted malt and licorice, follows by coffee, chocolate, tobacco and spices, mouthfeel is warm alcoholic, while finish is medium bitter. On tap at Hop In Craft Bar, Kanal, Zagreb. Shared with lovely Anja. Completely black with a small beige head. Light aroma of spice and dried fruits, wine-like with light barrel. Extremely complex flavors: fruit, honey, baked apple, spice, dark malts, light alcohol, roasty dryness. Very creamy, medium body, soft carbonation, lasting roasty finish. Surprisingly complex and innovative, original, a big plus for Pelicon!

On tap at Hop In Zagreb. Almost black coloured, minimal off-white head, mild spicy nose. Light roasted malt, chocolate, winter spices, slightly notes of cherries and alcohol with touch of vanilla and maybe wood. Balanced and not so noticable alcohol. And yes, Griotte for sure. Pleasant.

Tap at Hop In. Dark dark murky brown. Tiny tan head. Aroma... Sweetish, figs, bit dark chocolate, Griotte pralines really. But light. Medium silky body, nice fig/cherry mix on light roastiness, some alcohol, some coconut, mint. Some bitterness in the finish and the aftertaste. Nice sipper, even though the alcohol presence brings it down a notch for me.

Pours black, topped with a mediums mall coffee cream head, not lasting. Initially mild chocolate nose with some roastiness in teh back. Later, some woody and vanilla notes develop, as well as wintery spices even later. A roasty hit, with lots of coffee in teh start. Finishing with medium hoppy bitterness and presence of spices that goes on into aftertaste. Quite full body, creamy. A bit too intense coffee character for me.
