Resinous, soapy hops, big chewy caramel malts. Bready notes, biscuity, and sticky toffee. Pine resins throughout, big mouth feel, soft carb. Medium to high bitterness, slightly nutty malts, more caramels and toffee with more piney, slightly so pay hops. Reminds me alot of arrogant bastard.

Muddy brown body but good foam, nice deep malt and licorice on the nose. Flavour is heavy chocolate syrup, chewy hops, caramel. Nice lingering bitterness, alcohol well hidden. A little heavy but still enjoyable.

Draught at the brewpub
Dark amber color, clean. The aroma has some caramel, it’s a bit boozy. Full bodied, with nice caramel flavor, moderately sweet, but the mouthfeel is a bit oily too; strong bitterness, with some hop resins, some raisins, and a hint of nuts.
Solid, doesn’t drink too well though, thick.

On tap at Steamworks, pours a hazy dark cooper amber wig a small white head. Aroma brings out a good mix of bready caramel malt and resinous hops, more towards the malt. Flavour is along the same lines, with lots of sweet caramel upfront, with resinous hops on the other side. Not great harmony going on here. A little abrasive, but it's drinkable for the ABV. Decent.

Süßlich würziger, etwas getreidiger Antrunk. Spritzig, der Hopfen bläht sich etwas auf, bleibt aber insgesamt angenehm. Rund, gefällt! 10/9/10/9/12/11
