We produced this full bread-like beer with an intense but plea-sant and very mild bitterness on the occasion of the celebration of the 450th anniversary since the founding of the brewery in Svijany. It is produced using traditional technology typical for Czech beer using our own hops with a dominant portion of the rediscovered Osvald clone of the Žatecký poloraný červeňák variety of malt from small Czech malthouses.

Deep, clear golden pour, white head. Nose is noble hoppy, somewhat malty. Taste is pleasant bittersweet, with long bitterish finish. Light bodied with average carbonation. Tasty.

Barva zlatava. Pena vysoka dobre drzi. Vune sladova, medova, obilna. Chut sladova, obilna, nizsi stredni plnost. Dojezd suchy peprna horkost, stredne dlouhy dojezd. Riz vyssi stredni. Jednoduchy lezak, zadne vystrelky, dobre pitny. Vyrazne lepsi nez zbytek svijanske produkce.

Tab at Sarte. Classic crystal clear rich golden color huge head, flavor of clean brady malts and lots of grassy saaz hops, hay, straw, a bit of biscuit. Crisp taste, lagery, clean, well balanced. Decent body, proper carbonation, good texture, dry finish, moderately strong bitter, very clean.

Słodowe, chlebowe, ziołowe, diacetyl delikatny. Barwa złota, piana znika do zera, brak lacingu. Goryczka zaznaczona, ziołowa, apteczna, długa, nieprzyjemna. Słodkie z tępą goryczką ale przyjemnym chlebkiem. No dla mnie duże rozczarowanie.

28/1/2024. Can from the Norwich Arts Centre fundraiser following World Beer Awards. Pours clear golden with a firm foamy white head. Aroma is grainy, malty, bready, citrus, grass. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Quite smooth. Average carbonation. Rather good.

Klare goldene Farbe mit weißer Schaumkrone. Malziger, getreidiger Geruch. Geschmacklich malzig, getreidig, brotig, leicht grasig hopfig. Mittlere Süße mit mittlerer Bitterkeit, leichter Körper mit spürbarer Kohlensäure.
