We produced this full bread-like beer with an intense but plea-sant and very mild bitterness on the occasion of the celebration of the 450th anniversary since the founding of the brewery in Svijany. It is produced using traditional technology typical for Czech beer using our own hops with a dominant portion of the rediscovered Osvald clone of the Žatecký poloraný červeňák variety of malt from small Czech malthouses.

500 ml can. Clear dark golden, big fluffy head. Metallic notes, grassy zesty hops, vanilla, buttercookies. Metallic bitterness. Medium bodied, oily texture, lively to soft carbonated, metallic bitter finish. Decent.

Draught @ U Rokytky Rastaurace, Prague. Pours clear golden with a white head, lacings. Aroma of malt, grain, some buttery notes, grassy hops. Flavor is light sweet, light bitter, malt, grain, grassy, a light hint of butter. Medium body, average carbonation, lasting bitter finish. 040820

Nice tasty Czech pilsner this one. Makes you feel that pils is good for you Deep golden in the glass with a fine lasting head Good lacing.
