We produced this full bread-like beer with an intense but plea-sant and very mild bitterness on the occasion of the celebration of the 450th anniversary since the founding of the brewery in Svijany. It is produced using traditional technology typical for Czech beer using our own hops with a dominant portion of the rediscovered Osvald clone of the Žatecký poloraný červeňák variety of malt from small Czech malthouses.

Bottle. Color: Clear orange gold. Long lasting dense off white head. Taste: Medium bitter, hop, lightly sweet, medium to high carbonation. Pretty long lasting hopbitter finish. Nice one.

0,5l from tap at Pivni Opice shared by a friend. Yellow light hazy colour, small white head. Smells of flour, ripe fruits, light bread. Medium body, soft carbonation, slick mouthfeel. Tastes lightly fruity, light sweetness, light honey, light spices, some grass. Finishes rather balanced with light fruit and grassy notes. Decent good balance

Tap at Salon piva. Aroma vomit, oxidized, bleh. Clear golden colour. Taste is very rough, unbalanced. Sharp grassy bitterness, thin body, no maltiness, lasting slightly astringent finish. Meh.

Bottle @ home. Clear orange golden color, medium sized off-white head that lasts for a decent while. Strong malty aroma with some bitter hops. Taste malts, moderate to heavy bitter, bitter hops. Decent body and carbonation. Way more bitterness and bitter hops than I had expected. Nice.

bottle, many thanks to Kralupy - na zdraví! Clear golden with a tall white head. Bitter-sweet aroma with soem saaz hops, very promising. Medium-bodied, solid and good malty base, saaz hops also present. Bitter-sweet - a classic jedenáctka.
