We produced this full bread-like beer with an intense but plea-sant and very mild bitterness on the occasion of the celebration of the 450th anniversary since the founding of the brewery in Svijany. It is produced using traditional technology typical for Czech beer using our own hops with a dominant portion of the rediscovered Osvald clone of the Žatecký poloraný červeňák variety of malt from small Czech malthouses.

Bottle. Golden colour, head disappears after some time. Nose is faint. Mouth is much butter and grassy hops, some malt. Medium bitterness. Medium carbonation. Nothing special, sadly.

Tap at Black Dog in Split, pretty cool new place, but this is the only beer they have on tap I haven't had before, heh. Full, deeper, clear golden body, lasting thick white head. By the book! The flowery, even slightly fruity hoppiness in the aroma confirms the "three times hopped" thing, solid malty background. Medium body heading into a mild herbal bitter finish, the clean maltiness supporting the prickly, herbal-flowery hop well. By no means a fantastic beer, but a well crafted hoppy classic Czech lager.

Barwa złota, klarowne, piana biała, niezbyt obfita, ale dość trwała. W aromacie słodowość, lekki DMS i karton. W smaku słodowe, zbożowe, brak diacetylu (ew. w śladowych ilościach). Goryczka niska do średniej. Wysycenie w normie, ciała nie brakuje jak na 11tkę. Typowy, nieco tępy czeski pils.

Bottle, 0.5l. Clear golden pour with two finger creamy white head. Very good head retention and thick lacing. Smell of malts, corn and hops. Medium body with medium to high carbonation. Watery texture. Bitter taste and mouthfeel, slightly metallic. Aroma is quite interesting, a bit different then your usual pilsner. Cooked vegetable, hops, malts, grains. Slight caramel. Traces of metal, especially in the finish. Lingering hoppy bitterness. Overall, different then expected. Good.
