We produced this full bread-like beer with an intense but plea-sant and very mild bitterness on the occasion of the celebration of the 450th anniversary since the founding of the brewery in Svijany. It is produced using traditional technology typical for Czech beer using our own hops with a dominant portion of the rediscovered Osvald clone of the Žatecký poloraný červeňák variety of malt from small Czech malthouses.

# 128, 10/2015. Nepříliš chutné pivo, s takovou nakyslou, citronovou chutí, docela prázdný a bez osobnosti.

Wässrig bitterer Beginn. Mild würzig, steigende Hopfenaromen von geringem Level aus, dann würziger, malzig, weiter primär bitter. Aromatischer Mittelteil, der etwas zu spät kommt und das Bier so nicht mehr retten kann, dennoch insgesamt nett. 10/7/8/10/8/8

Nice bubbly-creamy mediumlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet grassy, sap, wet grass, hay, weeds, paper, wet grain, butterscotch, bark, minerals. Taste is slightly harsh mineraly, weeds, sap, minerals, bark, sour grass, soil, paper, metal tank, yeast, flowers. Medium to longlasting bitterness, harsh metallic mouthfeel. Meh!

Bottle from Palivec Porterhouse Sofia. Clear amber colour. yep a malty Czech mass produced lager. yet I love it. I came to Sofia not sure what to expect. they have no history of brewing like UK Germany Belgium Czech. so it's all borrowed and imported. I understand that now. the beer is fine a malty pretty good Czech malty lager. with some hops and no faults. ok .

Can, four months before bbd. Pours clear golden, with a small creamy head. Aroma is light roasted malts with caramels, kandi and honey, as well as zesty hops with floral notes. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is malts with cereals, caramel and kandi, as well as zesty hops with citrus, grass and floral notes. Hoppy finish.

500ml can from Bliznetsy in Moscow. Pours clear gold with a tall white head. Aroma is mushrooms, malt and herbs. Taste is light sweet, malt, musty hop. A bit weird. Perhaps a bad can?

Gebraut zum 450 Geburtstag der Brauerei. Noch ein klassisches Helles mit etwas stärkerer Stammwürze...noch eines. EIn Bier das besser wird wenn es etwas wärmer wird. Das zeugt von einer wirklich guten Süffigkeit. EIn gutes Bier, das aber das Prädikat Premium nicht wirklich verdient.
