330ml bottle. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Slightly sugary, fruity aroma, hints of caramel, morello, a touch of sherry sherbet. Taste is dry, tart, fruity, notes of morello, a touch of rock sugar, bitter hints of orange zest. Somewhat restraint, narrow - lacks body to provide a wider "area" for the flavours to unfold upon. Promising conception though.

0,33 l bottle from Drink Drunk, East Berlin. Been sitting in my fridge for a while, waiting for a special someone. That special someone, of course, never came, so the best-before date passed (not radically). I figured my special someones are magnificent Anna God and Grandmaster Marko so I shared it with them. Pours purple, no head! Malty and toasty aromas well balanced with dark cherry cake. Taste is metallic and dry with some alcohol, flavours are malty, toasty and fruity. Light, drinkable, moderate carbonation, spicy finish. Aroma justifies the style, the rest not so much.

Bottle. Hrabren dug the bottle up from somewhere and shared with Sandi ST and me. Hazy red-amber body with an off white head. Malt-driven aroma, with sweet & sour cherry touches. Huh... big maltiness, a bit oxidized, dry body, brow sugar, touches of cherry, but not enough to save it. Solid, but not more.

0,33 l bottle from Hopsession, Osnabrück. Pours out in an unclear darkest red brown with a small beige head. Cherry fruity but also dusty smell. Taste starts with cherry, followed by a more typical strong belgian stuff. Later malty with sugar, less fruity, getting dry. Not bad.

Niet de krieksmaak die je zou verwachten. Niet zoet. Hoppig en lichtbitter.

Many thankt to Erzengel for sharing! Almost clear dark reddish amber beer with a small beige head. Aroma of cherries, caramel, not too sweet. Taste of tart cherries, dark fruits, caramel, cinnamon, herbs, yeast, okay!

33cl bottle. Smooth deep cherry beginning. Dry and fresh, sourish with a nice smooth sour malty body. Long intense malty with not too much bitterness, roasted dry caramelly. The cherries are natural and sour till the end. Long slightly alcoholic warming malty caramelly sour cherry aftertaste. Nice.
