0.5 l can, from Budaors, Hungary. Pours clear yellow colour with low and short-lasting white head. Aroma is lighthly hoppy with moderate smell of herbs. Light fruity flavour with hints of steel, but still quite watery taste. Carbonation is moderate, short and dry aftertaste.

Aroma has hints of hops and grains, slight however. Has a nice gold colour and decent head. Taste is totally off, like carboard and wood, some malts. Has a slimy finish. Totally unbalanced and all over the place.

Bottled. A golden beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet maty with notes of caramel, and so is the flavor, leading to a dry bitter finish.

Etwas herber Antrunk, leicht würzig. Sehr mild, ins wässrige gehend, bitter. Langweilig, wässriger werdend. Gerade so trinkbar. Test vom 12.8.2008, Gebinde: Dose Noten: 6,5,6,5,6,4 - 4,90

0.5l can, purchased in a Match store in Budapest Poured a golden colour with a medium-big collapsing white head. Very fizzy at first. Some maltiness mingling with a herbal hopiness in the aroma. Gee, this actually smells like a proper beer. Sourish, simple hopiness shows up right at the beginning, with some nice sweet, somewhat woody maltiness lurking in the background. Some metal. Somewhat watery and quite dry in the end. Some stale maltiness with notes of alcohol also has a tendency to pop up unexpectedly. Biting mouthfeel. Odd. Loads of character compared to most other Hungarian beers I’ve had but not terribly exciting or pleasant.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Kim N. Clear, pilsener golden with a dense, white head that leaves some laces. Clean, malty nose. Medium body, fairly clean and malty with a dry and bitter finish. Surprisingly clean. 110108
